As an electrochemist, Oghenetega's work focuses on the characterization of electrochemical reactions at the electrode surfaces of proton exchange membrane fuel cells. Using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), he investigates the complex processes occurring at the interface of electrodes and ionomers, aiming to understand and optimize the mechanisms of proton conduction and gas transport.
